That didn't take long.
Less than two weeks after the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T received their first Android Pie beta release, the full update has begun rolling out. OnePlus confirmed the news a little bit ago, saying that it was able to "optimize and improve several key areas" of the OnePlus 5 and 5T's Pie update thanks to the beta testers.
Along with the update to Android 9 Pie, this OxygenOS 9.0.0 update brings new navigation gestures for the OnePlus 5T, the December 2018 Android security patches, a new Do Not Disturb mode with adjustable settings, and more. Here's the full changelog for this update:

- Brand new navigation gestures (Available for OnePlus 5T only)
- Updated Android security patch to 2018.12

As with most of OnePlus's other updates, this Android Pie release for the OnePlus 5 and 5T will be rolling out incrementally. This means that a small number of users will get it today, and then in a few days when OnePlus can confirm that everything is working smoothly, it'll begin a broader rollout.
Pie is the latest version of Android available, and so it's great to see it rolling out to more devices. If you've got a OnePlus 5 or 5T, be sure to let us know when Android Pie makes its way to your neck of the woods!
