Samsung leaks Galaxy Note 9 on its own website

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 web page leak

We're just one week away from Samsung's official announcement of the Galaxy Note 9, but it looks like someone inside Samsung slipped up and gave us an early peek at the upcoming flagship today.

Samsung's New Zealand website today put up a page that shows the Galaxy Note 9 and confirms the device's name. Spotted by Evan Blass, the page appears to be one meant for people on Samsung's mailing list and includes a pre-order link that doesn't work right now.

The image included on the page gives us a good look at the back and bottom of the blue Galaxy Note 9. We can see a dual rear camera setup and, just as the leaks predicted, Samsung has moved the fingerprint reader below those cameras rather than placing it to the right of them like it did on the Note 8. There's a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB-C port on the bottom of the Note 9 as well as a slot to store the S Pen, which is a bright yellow here.

This Samsung web page doesn't reveal much new information about the Galaxy Note 9, but it does appear to confirm many of the rumored features of the device. The good news is that Samsung's August 9th Unpacked event is now just one week away, so it won't be long before we know everything that makes the Note 9 tick. Stay tuned.
