Planning to fly somewhere on Labor Day? If so, T-Mobile wants to help make your travel better.
T-Mobile announced today that it's giving everyone some free in-flight Wi-Fi on Labor Day, September 3rd. This includes non-T-Mobile customers, too, so you don't have to be a magenta subscriber to get free Wi-Fi. The offer is good for 30 minutes of free in-flight Wi-Fi on your smartphone on Gogo-equipped domestic flights.
With this offer, T-Mo is hoping to give non-customers a taste of what T-Mobile subscribers get everyday. The T-Mobile One plan includes unlimited in-flight messaging as well as one hour of smartphone Wi-Fi, and customers who sign up for the T-Mobile One Plus add-on get unlimited in-flight Wi-Fi on Gogo-equipped flights to, from, and within the U.S.
This is a nice gesture from T-Mobile that should help make Labor Day travel a bit smoother. Even if you're not interested in becoming a T-Mo subscriber, you can spend some of your flight browsing the web, messaging, and more to help pass the time.
