One week after pushing iOS 11 beta 7, Apple has released another iOS 11 beta update.
iOS 11 beta 8 is now rolling out to registered developers. If that’s you, then you can get this update by going to Apple’s Developer Center or going to Settings > General > Software Update on your enrolled iOS device.
There doesn’t appear to be a new iOS 11 update rolling out to public beta testers yet, but if the previous updates are any indication, public testers should receive a new iOS 11 beta to test in the next day or two.
Apple has said that it will launch iOS 11 to the public this fall. Rumors have suggested that Apple is planning a new iPhone event for September 12th, and it’s possible that iOS 11 could be released to the public around that time.
iOS 11 brings with it new features like a redesigned and customizable Control Center, a Dock for the iPad, a Files app, peer-to-peer Apple Pay in Messages, Do Not Disturb While Driving, and more.
