Samsung Galaxy S10+ reportedly appears in renders with four rear cameras, punch hole display cutout

The Samsung Galaxy S10 is one of the most hotly anticipated smartphones of 2019, and today we may be getting an early look at the upcoming flagship.

New renders that claim to show the Samsung Galaxy S10+ have made their way online. The images, shared by @OnLeaks and 91mobiles, are based on factory CADs and show a device with a hole punched out of the upper right corner of the display. Living inside that hole is a dual front-facing camera setup.

Around on the back of this device are four cameras lined up horizontally. Details on these cameras are light, but it's suggested that they could include a standard lens, a telephoto lens, and an ultra wide angle lens. You'll notice that there's no fingerprint reader on the back of the phone like there is on the Galaxy S9+, and that's because it's rumored that the GS10+ will have an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor that could be faster than optical in-display fingerprint sensors in devices like the OnePlus 6T.

Today's leak also suggests that the Galaxy S10+ will have a USB-C port for charging and that it'll retain the 3.5mm headphone jack, which is sure to please a lot of folks as the 3.5mm jack has disappeared from many other smartphones. The body of the GS10+ will reportedly measure 157.5 x 75.0 x 7.8mm. To compare, the Galaxy S9+ measures 158.1 x 73.8 x 8.5mm.

These leaked Galaxy S10+ renders appear to line up with what we've heard about Samsung's upcoming flagship in previous rumors. That includes the in-display fingerprint sensor, a punch hole-style cutout for the front cameras, and a quad rear camera setup. It's been suggested that Samsung will have four Galaxy S10 variants next year, including a standard model with a 5.8-inch screen and in-display fingerprint reader, the S10+ with a 6.4-inch screen and in-display fingerprint reader, a lower cost S10 with a 5.8-inch display and no in-display fingerprint sensor, and a special edition model with a 6.7-inch screen and 5G support.

Samsung is reportedly planning to announce its Galaxy S10 in February 2019. What do you want to see from Samsung's next Galaxy S flagship?
