Pixel 3 Lite compared to Google Pixel, iPhone XS, and other devices in new leaked photos

Pixel 3 Lite, Google Pixel size comparison

We got our first glimpse at the Pixel 3 Lite earlier this month, with some leaked images showing an unreleased Google smartphone with a headphone jack. Now more photos of the Pixel 3 have leaked, comparing it to other devices that we know.

New photos show the Pixel 3 Lite next to devices like the original Google Pixel, the Pixel 3 XL, the iPhone XS, the iPhone XR, and the iPhone 5s. Shared by Wylsa.com, the images give us a better idea of the size of the Pixel 3 Lite while also just letting us see the unannounced device's hardware again.

Another photo posted by Twitter user @jc_ru shows the Pixel 3 Lite next to the Pixel 3.

The Pixel 3 Lite, codenamed "Sargo", looks similar to a Pixel 3 but is said to have slightly lesser specs. It's reportedly packing a plastic body rather than being made with glass and it's said to have a Snapdragon 670 processor rather than a Snapdragon 845. Other rumored features of the device include 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is a feature that's missing from the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. The Pixel 3 Lite is said to include the same camera as the Pixel 3, too.

Unfortunately, two Pixel 3 Lite details that we still don't have are its pricing and release date. Given that it's got some step-down specs compared to the Pixel 3, you'd expect the Pixel 3 Lite to cost a bit cheaper than the Pixel 3, which starts at $799. If Google can make the Pixel 3 Lite a couple hundred dollars less than that but still pack in the same camera as the Pixel 3, this Pixel 3 Lite could be a great option for a lot of people, offering one of the best smartphone cameras on the market and software updates direct from Google in a more affordable package for folks who don't need top-of-the-line specs.
