It looks like a new special edition OnePlus 6T may be in the works.
OnePlus today teased that it's making an announcement with McLaren, British supercar manufacturer. The "Salute to Speed" event will be held on December 11 at 4:30 am EST, and it's happening at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, UK.

We'll have to wait a couple of weeks for OnePlus and McLaren's announcement before we know for sure what they're working on, but a limited edition OnePlus 6T is a solid possibility. OnePlus is known for partnering with other brands for special edition phones, as it's worked with Star Wars and Marvel in the past, and OnePlus's teaser page shows the OnePlus 6T.
As for what could make this special OnePlus/McLaren 6T so special, the "Salute to Speed" tagline for the announcement could be a hint at some improve specs, like maybe a bit more RAM. A bright orange paint job to match McLaren's F1 car is a also a possibility. We don't see many orange phones, so an orange OnePlus 6T would be pretty neat.
