Google Pixel 3 XL appears in new batch of leaked photos

Google Pixel 3 XL hands-on photos leak

After leaking out in a black version earlier this year, the Google Pixel 3 XL has posed for a new set of photos in a white variant.

Photos of the Google Pixel 3 XL were shared by xda-developers forum user "dr.guru", who says that they took the shots. The bad news is that the phone doesn't boot "because it was remotely erased by Google", says dr.guru, but the photos do give us a clear look at one of Google's upcoming flagship phones.

The device features a single rear camera with flash, rear fingerprint reader, and the same Google prototype logo that appeared on the aforementioned black Pixel 3 XL. Around front there's a notch at the top of the screen that appears to feature dual cameras, and at the bottom of the screen is a chin.

Other notable details of these photos include the fact that this phone is listed as having 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, half as much as the 128GB of storage that the Pixel 3 XL that previously leaked had. The phone also identifies itself by the codename "crosshatch", just like the other Pixel 3 XL.

Earlier this year, it was rumored that the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will launch in October, with Verizon again expected to be the exclusive U.S. wireless carrier. Reports have also said that the Pixel 3 XL will have an OLED display from LG and that it'll have stereo speakers.

This leaked Pixel 3 XL seems to line up nicely with everything we've heard about the phone so far. The notch is sure to be disappointing to some people, but it may be worth it to look past the notch since this is a new flagship with Google that'll get fast OS and security updates.

Based on what we've seen of it so far, what do you think of the Pixel 3 XL?
