Google adding 'Try It Now' button to Android Instant Apps in the Play Store

It was nearly a year and a half ago when Google first announced Android Instant Apps, which are meant to let you test out an app without having to take the time (and data) to download it first. Now Google is working to better highlight those Android Instant Apps.

Google is adding “Try It Now” buttons to the Play Store listings for Android Instant Apps. This way, you can just tap once and try out an app without downloading it first.

Google also has a special “Apps to Try Now” section in the Play Store. The apps include Hollar, The New York Times Crossword, BuzzFeed, Red Bull TV, and more.

Android Instant Apps is a nifty feature because sometimes you want to try a new app, but you don’t want to spend the time and data downloading it only to end up uninstalling it minutes later. With Android Instant Apps, you can load up an app right away and download it if you end up liking it or just exit if you don’t.
