LG Q7, Q7+, and Q7α feature 5.5-inch displays and IP68 water resistance

LG Q7 official

The G7 ThinQ may be LG's new hotness, but it's not the only new smartphone that the company is pushing out.

LG today revealed the Q7, the newest member of its mid-range Q series. There are actually three versions of the device — the Q7, Q7+, and Q7α — each with its own spec configuration.

All three models include a 5.5-inch 2160x1080 display with 18:9 aspect ratio, and unlike the G7 ThinQ, there's no notch to be found. Each phone also includes IP68 water and dust resistance, FM radio, a rear fingerprint reader, a microSD card slot, Android 8.0 Oreo, a 3000mAh battery, and either a 1.5GHz octa-core processor or 1.8GHz octa-core processor.

Additionally, LG has equipped its new Q7 phones with a QLens AI feature that'll let you point your camera at an item to get info on where to buy it online. Q Lens can also perform an image search to get you additional images of food, clothes, celebrities, and landmarks

The LG Q7 packs 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage. There's also a 13MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus, either an 8MP front camera or wide angel 5MP front camera, and Aurora Black, Moroccan Blue, and Lavender Violet color options.

Meanwhile, the LG Q7+ gets a bump to 4GB of RAM, 64GB of built-in storage, a Hi-Fi Quad DAC, and a 16MP rear camera with PDAF. Like the standard Q7, it'll come equipped with either an 8MP or wide angle 5MP front camera and Aurora Black, Moroccan Blue, and Lavender Violet colors.

Rounding things out is the LG Q7α, which has 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a 13MP PDAF rear camera. Around front there's a wide angle 5MP front camera, and the only color option available is Moroccan Blue.

LG's new Q7 phones will begin shipping to "key markets" in Europe in early June, followed by releases in the Americas and Asia.
