Turns out that Spectacles landing on Amazon isn’t the only Snapchat news for today.

Snapchat is now pushing an update with a couple of notable new features. First up is the ability to record up to six Snaps in a row. Just hold down the record button and you’ll be able to capture and share up to six 10-second clips in a row, which means you could essentially share a 60-second video Snap.

Also rolling out today is a new Tint Brush feature. With it, you can you can highlight an area in your Snap and fill it in with a new color of your choice.

The 60-second video recording feature is rolling out to iOS first with an Android release planned soon. Tint Brush is available on both iOS and Android now.

Snapchat’s new feature to let you string together up to 60 seconds of video sounds like a nice addition. Now if you’re anticipating something happening, you’ve got a better chance of catching it on video since you can record up to 60 seconds without letting off of the record button. You can also delete individual 10-second clips in your sequence to make sure that only the most exciting parts get shared.
