MetroPCS customers, soon scam calls will cease being a problem to you.
T-Mobile has announced that it’s rolling out Scam ID and Scam Block to MetroPCS. The features will automatically be enabled for all MetroPCS customers starting tomorrow, July 25th.
With Scam ID, incoming calls that are suspected to be spam will be tagged with a “Scam Likely” alert, and then you can choose whether or not to answer. Scam Block prevents those “Scam Likely” calls from ringing your phone at all.
To check if Scam Block is enabled for you, dial #STS# (#787#) on your phone. You can disable Scam Block by dialing #OFB# (#632#), and it can be reenabled by dialing #ONB# (#662#).
Scam calls can steal your money if they’re successful, but even if they’re not, they can be annoying when they interrupt your day. Starting tomorrow, MetroPCS customers won’t have to deal with either issue any longer.
