A new version of the Google Play Store is now rolling out, and it’s bringing with it a small but meaningful change.
Google Play Store version 8.0.22 is now rolling out to Android devices, and one change that it offers is the ability to show an app’s changelog in the Updates tab of “My apps & games”. This means that you can see the changes and new features in an app update without having to leave the Updates tab to go to the app’s full page.
This is a pretty nifty feature for Google to add. When a new app update hits your phone, you might want to see what new features have been added. This new feature helps you do just that while saving you some time.
This new version of the Google Play Store is now rolling out, so keep an eye out for these in-line update changelogs the next time that you update your apps.
