Heads up, T-Mobile customers, because there’s a new deal that you should be aware of.
Samsung is giving away a free Gear VR with Controller to T-Mobile customers that buy a Galaxy S8 or S8+. Samsung says that bought their S8 or S8+ between April 28 and May 14 are eligible, but T-Mobile’s FAQ for the deal mentions that phones purchased between April 21 and April 28 also qualify.
To get your free Gear VR with Controller, you’ll need to visit the Samsung Promotions webpage between May 10 and May 28. You’ll register your info there and then Samsung will send a Gear VR with Controller your way.
Samsung gave a Gear VR with Controller to customers that pre-ordered a Galaxy S8 or S8+, but that offer ended last month. Not everyone likes to pre-order a new smartphone, though, with some folks preferring to wait until reviews come out and the first phones are delivered to see how the devices perform. The good news is that those folks that opted to skip the Galaxy S8 pre-order once again have the chance to get a free Gear VR to go with the GS8.
