Android 7.0 Nougat continues its rollout today, and this time it’s hitting a few older flagship devices.
AT&T is pushing Android 7.0 to its versions of the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, and Galaxy S6 Active. The updates began rolling out over the air today, May 3, and they all weigh in at around 1.2GB of size. That means that you’ll probably want to find a speedy Wi-Fi connection before downloading them.
As for what’s included, the update to Android 7.0 brings with it new features like improved Doze mode battery savings and quick replies from notifications. AT&T says that Samsung Cloud and Samsung Pass are included, too, along with the April 1, 2017 Android security patches.
Software updates typically go out in phases, so don’t fret if your AT&T GS6, GS6 edge, or GS6 Active haven’t gotten an update quite yet. You can also manually check for an update by going into Settings > About device > Software update > Check for updates.
