Google Clock is adding a new feature to help you wake up the way that you want to.
With its latest update, Google Clock will let you wake up to music from Pandora and YouTube Music. You'll need both the Google Clock and YouTube Music or Pandora apps on your phone to get this feature. Once you do, create an alarm in the Google Clock app and tap the bell to select the source of your music.
When your alarm goes off, your tunes will begin to play, complete with album art displayed in the background. You can then snooze, stop the alarm, or keep listening to the music.
This is a nifty new feature for Google Clock. Sometimes waking up to a buzzing alarm can be jarring, and the built-in jingles that come with some phones just aren't all that great. Now you can choose exactly the music that you want to wake up to in the morning so that you can get the day started on the right foot.
