Instagram now lets you draw on friends' photos, disable replays

Instagram draw on friends' Direct photos

Instagram today announced a couple of tweaks to its Direct messaging feature.

First up, you can now alter your friends' photos and send them back so they can see your creation. When your friend sends you a photo, you can tap the camera button at the bottom of the scree and get a sticker of the image. You can then move and resize it as well as add stickers, text, and drawings.

Instagram is also tweaking how replays work. When you send a disappearing photo or video to a friend, you can now select "One View" to let your friends only see the message one. You can also choose "Allow Replay" so that they can replay the photo or video if they'd like.

These new features are available as part of Instagram version 24 on both Android and iOS.
