Huawei's Honor line is known for offering attractive and well-specced smartphones for affordable prices, and today a new Honor smartphone has been revealed that continues that trend.

The Honor V10 features a 5.99-inch 2160x1080 display with slim bezels. Below that display is a fingerprint reader, and above the display lives a 13-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The slim bezel trend isn't the only one that the Honor V10 is jumping on, because like many other recent Honor and Huawei releases, it's also got a dual rear camera setup. There's a 16-megapixel color sensor and a 20-megapixel black and white sensor as well as autofocus and a rear LED flash.

Inside the Honor V10's shell lives an octa-core Kirin 970 processor paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM, 64GB or 128GB of storage, and a microSD card slot. There's a 3,750mAh battery powering this package and a USB-C port for recharging that battery. And while the V10 follows the slim bezel and dual rear camera trends, it bucks the trend of ditching the 3.5mm headphone jack.

On the software side, the Honor V10 comes with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. It's also running Huawei's custom EMUI 8.0 user interface.

The Honor V10 will launch in China on December 5th in black, blue, red, and gold color options. Pricing will start at 2699 yuan ($409 USD) for the 4GB/64GB model and go up to 2999 yuan ($454 USD) for the 6GB/64GB model, topping out at 3499 yuan ($530 USD) for the 6GB/128GB variant.

Honor's newest smartphone looks like a nice addition to its lineup. The design follows other recent Honor releases and includes slim bezels, and it's good to see Android 8.0 Oreo included out of the box. With this, the V10 is one of the first non-Pixel phones to launch with Oreo.

What do you think of the Honor V10?
