Google Play Music update lets you play music from search results

Google Play Music is making it faster to get to the tunes that you want to hear.

Google has updated the Play Music app to allow you to begin playing music from the search results. This means that when you’re searching for an artist, song, or album, the top three results will now include an image and a “play” button. You can tap that button to start rocking out.

This feature appears to be working in both the Android and iOS versions of the Play Music app.

With this new feature, you can save some time when you’re looking for something specific to listen to. Instead of searching, tapping on a result, then hitting the “play” button, you can tap the “play” button in the search results and get on with your day.
