Google Play has long offered an Editors’ Choice section to help you find the best apps in the store, but now Google is working to make its recommendations even better.
Google is adding editorial pages to the Editors’ Choice section that’ll include hand-selected apps from Google Play editors. There will be different recommendations based on themes like fitness, video, calling, and RPGs, and each app will include a “Why we love this” section to let you know why it made the cut.
Here are some examples of Google Play’s new editorial pages:

The Google Play Store is home to millions of applications, and so it can be overwhelming to try and dive in and find a new app or game to fit your needs. These new editorial pages aim to fix that, giving you a handful of great apps in specific categories along with reasons why that app has been selected, saving you from having to scour the store and download multiple apps just to find the right one.
