Sprint LG G6 will be 50 percent off at launch

LG G6 hands-on unboxing

We already know that the LG G6 is launching at Sprint (and other US carriers) tomorrow, April 7, but today Sprint revealed a last-minute deal on the new Android flagship.

Sprint says that it’ll sell the LG G6 for half-off for a limited time. That means that rather than being $29.50 for 24 months ($708), the Sprint LG G6 will cost $14.75 per month for 24 months ($354).

This deal will be available to new customers that sign up for an Unlimited Freedom plan as well as existing Sprint customers. Sprint says that existing customers will need to be eligible for an upgrade and be on a qualifying rate plan.

Also of note is that Sprint customers that buy the LG G6 by May 11 will get a free Google Home from LG.

The LG G6 will be available from Sprint in Black and Ice Platinum. The device will be the first one on Sprint that’s packing High Performance User Equipment (HPUE), a new technology that can extend Sprint’s 2.5GHz LTE coverage by nearly 30 percent. This means that it can get you better coverage and faster speeds.
