A little more than a week after Samsung halted its Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Galaxy S8, the rollout has resumed.
The Galaxy S8's new update is version G950FXXU1CRB7, while the Galaxy S8+ is getting G955XXU1CRB7. This means that this is an entirely new update than the one that rolled out previously.
This new update is currently rolling out in Germany to both GS8 owners who didn't get the previous Oreo update as well as those who did. There's no word yet on when it might begin appearing in other countries around the world, but now that the rollout has resumed, hopefully we'll see the Galaxy S8's Oreo update hit more phones soon.
