It's time for another flagship Android device to begin getting its Android 8.0 Oreo update.
The LG V30 is now being updated to Oreo. The update is only rolling out in Korea right now, following a preview program that gave 500 LG V30 owners an early taste of Oreo.
The update brings Android 8.0 features like picture-in-picture as well as improvements to speed, battery, and performance.
It's good to see Oreo continue to roll out to existing handsets, and we're sure there are a lot of LG V30 owners out there that'll be glad to get Android 8.0 before the end of the year. There's no word on when the LG V30's Oreo update will be released in other regions, but now that it's out in one part of the globe, hopefully it'll be released in other countries soon.
